Greg Tatka Biography

I’m in web marketing business since 2001. I started as a website designer and web developer at International House London.

In 2002 I moved on to freelancing as an SEO expert and search marketing consultant for various language schools, teacher training centres and non-profit organisations in the UK and Europe.

By 2003 I was running a small web consultancy from my north London office.

Since then I have delivered many successful web projects ranging from simple website redesigns to development of complex distance training websites. My roles to date included web project management,  web marketing consulting, online advertising campaign design, website SEO and support provision.

My professional interests are focused on the search and the subject of findability in relation to language and teacher training courses. The outcomes of my five-year long research has recently materialised in form of a language course search engine which understands near natural language queries and features unique faceted navigation. You can try it out at coursesetc.com

Apart from my work at Sitekick, I help IATEFL as a ‘freestanding’ volunteer for the Electronic Communications committee.

In early 2006 I moved to Krakow where I currently live.
